Sounds more like trance

But excellent work nonetheless. The only thing missing is the BASS!!!! When the beat kicks in at 1:10, I don't hear much bass, and it doesn't pick up anywhere else in the song. Sounds more like a WIP to me, with the bass being brilliantly designed behind the scenes, while we listen to a teaser of good cheer.... Let me know what's up with that. :)

DJOrsa responds:

Yeah. I realize that now, I think I should kick it up a notch. I just didn't want it interfering too much with the arp or melody.

Thanks for reviewing. :D

Uhhhh, pioneer much?

The only gun compilation I've heard until now was the COD4 one (of course made with FL). This one is so much less predictable than that though, and it is apparently an inspiration. Excellent work, I love the pure flow and flawless buildup.

Sounds a ton like Sonic

But not a remix? I must be dejavu'ing the whole way through the song. It's just that cool.

I have to say

I like this one much better than the first one I reviewed, drums are great and rhythm is flawless. The first reviewer is right, it's hard to tell if that's bass. It sounds like I can hear bass in left ear and guitar in right, and guitar shifting over to left for the mini riffs throughout the song and chorus Anyway, great job :)

Pretty good,

But the main riff just echos into nothingness. Nothing behind it, ya know?
Gotta add something that just harnesses the drums within it, so that they aren't so alone out there like the background riff. Definitely needs some work, but I'm sure the outcome will be great. Good luck with the song!

Beastly.

I've rapped about America's Army. I've rapped about Call of Duty (who hasn't). But now I will rap about the whole 80s and 90s gaming scenes. :D
Great beat dude, truly inspirational. I can totally see a rap video accompanying any and all raps that people spit to this beat. Just awesome.

Scribbler responds:

Let me know when you get it done... I wanna hear.

Honestly

First couple times I listened to this, I just didn't detect any sort of originality or rhythm. But as I kept visiting the audio portal home, and this song kept playing, it grew and grew on me. Now I'm like "HEY I recognize that awesomeness" every time I hear it.
That's usually a personal indication to download. ;)

Sirhc7000 responds:

hey I appreciate the honesty. Keep your eyes out for new stuff.

:D

Nice and all

The beat makes for an excellent buildup, and the entrance of the trance is excellently placed. The snare is too... snarish? in the first few hits though, meaning its resonance-sound should be tweaked if possible to sound less like a pushbroom whacking the pavement. But the flow between the songs is pretty cool, although I didn't understand the shift from B0UNC3 to F-777. But of course, like you said: they fade, not flow. You managed to make the last shift flow nicely, though.

My biggest concern - Where's the links to the artists' original songs?!?!

Z-Tone responds:

thanks for a great review i,m getting the orginals liks up right now

Well

The song is pretty good, but the drums are simply too amateur, in my opinion, and too repetitive. If it was submitted by your band, I would definitely give a higher rating for the band's effort. But you say you're the drummer, so that's my rating.
Again, though, good effort as a group.

gothicawolf responds:

Thanks for the review. Yeah the repetition is a little problem, check out our other stuff which hopefully you'll find less amateur.

Wow,

Awesome. Downloaded and 5'd. Great mixing job.

Father-of-Death responds:

:D thank you sir!

So I've been learning a lot about music lately. It's now December of 2013, and I have yet to produce an original Dubstep track to show off my newfound skills... Or should I call them newground skills? Anyway, keep an eye out!
